Topographic map design of the Reunion Island :

This is a school project where we had to design and make a map on Illustrator. The main focus was on creating a unique and rich map. Mine is a very personnal concept, inspired by two amazing artsists and talented map makers : Tanja Radovanovic and Florent Lavergne.

I asked some of my relatives a few questions about the reunion island - a place very dear to all of our hearts :
- the 3 colors that reminded them the most about this place
- the places that were the most significant to them on the island

And their answers allowed me to make this map, in hues of red, blue and green, with some locations appearing with a bigger "bubble", being the most significant and shared by all.

The map in itself was solely made in Illustrator, except for some final touches on Photoshop as always.
